Simple property

Version : 001 (16/10/00)

Definition

The concept of 'Simple property' defines a simple property that can be used in a PropertySet. The 'Simple property' has a name and a value. The name is a string that tells what the property is about and the value is a measure value, e.g. IfcString or IfcReal. There are a lot of allowed measure values in the IFC model, but only very few of them are actually being used at the moment.
