Absolute placement

Version : 001 (18/06/00)

Definition

The absolute placement defines the placement of the project (IfcProject). It is not quite clear what the absolute placement is placed relative to (nothing?). Until somebody comes up with an explanation for this let's use an offset of (0,0,0) and no rotation for the coordinate axes for the absolute placement.

This agreement would make the absolute placement of the project obsolete, because it holds no information.
