The concept of 'Brep geometry' describes a solid that is defined by its boundaries rather than by profiles and extrusions. This kind of geometry is used purely for representation and it is not possible to extract quantities or dimensions from it. In the IFC model it is the fallback position for any geometry than can't reasonably be represented using 'parametric' solids.
