The view for 'HVAC system design >> Quantities take off / cost estimating' defines the subset of the IFC model that is used for transferring data about HVAC systems to cost estimating applications..
This view does not contain the basic building elments (walls, door, windows, columns etc.). This view only contains the basic IFC infrastructure, systems, HVAC components and spaces. Spaces are included, because HVAC components may be associated with spaces.
